  1. Load will have an effect. It might be as simple as needing to lower the base duty cycle. Are you using open loop or closed loop boost control?
  2. Also forgot to mention that if its only becoming an issue a high power levels be sure to check for any sources of electrical noise like a coil arcing out the side.
  3. If you go with the GT101 avoid using the high tooth count, go for a 12 tooth wheel. The GT101 is not good at high frequency.
  4. Hi Blaine If you get in touch with us if you are not able to log in and we can take you through it.
  5. Yes your settings will need to be check. If you have set the staged table to slowly phase the secondary injectors in then it needs to be checked If put the secondary injection table to all one figure then it will be fine. Â Of course if you stay on the firmware you had tuned on it will be fine.
  6. The Ross kit really is very good and on big HP applications a almost must have.
  7. As long as you you have an iSeries board you can now update to the firmware that supports cruise control. Hardware wise the units are identical and in fact the latests iVTS or PC link will connect to either brand. In your case you can continue to use the VTS software you are familiar with. If you are using the switches for other functions currently you will need to either leave cruise control off or add / change to other digital inputs for control of those functions.
  8. No as the ECU will be running in the area of the map that has been tuned for that level of boost. As long as you tune for the highest boost you will run it will be fine.
  9. Currently no it does not however we can offer a conversion box. It is very much on the too be added list but it will be some time away.
  10. Hi Bill We have a adapter box available to convert the signal from analogue to digital for case such as this. If you made the GP limit base of a Virtual aux you could add lockouts such as TPS and RPM. Another option is to use the likes of http://www.holinger.com.au/knobs.php which supports a digital out.
  11. 3.5volts on the signal wire is not normal if the sensor is unpluged. Assuming this voltage is not dropping off. Double check you have the correct input wire to the ECU, do not trust the wire color check the location at the ECU header.
  12. Try changing the trigger two edge. This might help. Ensure all mechanical elements are good - the cam belt, pulleys, tensioner and the CAS spline drive must all be in good condition with no play
  13. Nope no effect at all to the ECU.
  14. You could use an AUX output configured as a GP PWM output this will give you control over how open the solenoid is. Â It will also let you base this of RPM and even load or TPS.
  15. The % fuel is a combination of our fuel calculation, master fuel, fuel table figures and any corrections. If you reach 100% or more the injector is wide open and you either have too small injectors or another fuel supply issue to the injectors.
  16. If the single sync goes past the sensor before TDC on compression #1 by say 30deg then the offset will be -30 So to get close you need to know the position of the sync.
  17. If the single sync goes past the sensor before TDC on compression #1 by say 30deg then the offset will be -30 So to get close you need to know the position of the sync.
  18. Hi Ron Yep display issue only the switching is mint just displays odd figures. Will get it on the list to be fixed.
  19. I don't really understand the point of having average values when you have the actual values. Min and Max can be viewed when you open the Time Plot properties window. The number of samples is possible if you use Mixture Map Unless the snake is broken it should work, but only for live tuning, not through log playback Ghost box should be working too. If you can supply your PCL file and VTS version we can check this on the bench. Log section time is M:S:MS as in minutes:Seconds:milliseconds The tables will display the ghost box on playback of a log if the required data is there (as in both axis). They must be exact parameters, as in 'AnV7- Fuel Pressure' parameter is not the same as the 'fuel pressure' parameter.
  20. No not really as it only has the one fan output, Its full bore or off.
  21. Make sure you are using the G4 software and not the G4+ software. This is a link to the most likely to connect software http://www.linkecu.com/support/downloads/pclink-download/pclink-g4-v4-10-2.1784
  22. Woops we now have a very apologetic service person its as good as in the post.
  23. MAP type is correct for the Storm + Timing should match what you seen in the main ignition map if this is not the case then you need to go through the calibrate timing section. Other inputs will be any Di or AN volt input. Master fuel is the main setting to get the fuel close. It is under the Fuel Main menu. (in ECU settings) Â
  24. I should also add that when in group mode the drives are fired in 2 groups odds and evens half a cycle apart.
