  1. Once filled in you are welcome to send the unit in by you preferred postal service. I would suggest a tracked service.
  2. This is the intention. It currently will display as per attached image when a tester is connected. In some regions there might be more information they are looking for. We will continue to add to what is displayed as we are advised on the requirements. Â Â Â
  3. Are you performing a Store once the setting is there? It would only take a very short drop below 7volts and if a store has not been done it will reset the value.

    g4+ canbus rx8

We don't have an option for the RX8 CAN currently. The hardware is there to support it but we have not investigated what the signals need to be or done the code around this.
  5. Yep with 5V and ground connected to the sensor you should be able to measure the voltage change. I would expect to see a voltage span of around 4 volts between the end points.
  6. To allow higher frequency inputs requires new hardware, this will be a consideration as we develop new platforms. But to what exists currently there will not be any change. The JEGS unit mentioned looks to be a viable option. On the 4000 pulses per mile setting you should end up with a calibration figure of close to 250 to give a correct speed reading.
  7. This could be an indication of low voltage at crank. If you change the offset make sure you hit enter after making the change.
  8. My pick would be that it could be knocking but very mildly, or you are picking up electrical or some other mechanical noise.
  9. There is an install and wiring manual available http://www.linkecu.com/support/documentation/g4plus-engine-management-documentation/g4plus-wiring-installation-manual#

    Dlovac2 ????

Hi Mat That is a special V1 with firmware geared for an application that has minimal vacuum at idle. To use on an RB it would need a firmware change (this requires the main micro to be replaced) and a new sub-board. Cost to do this would be $372 + gst and freight.
  11. No problem to use the later PC link it will still connect to older firmware version ok. If you however run a firmware update to the ECU then you will need to check all settings.
  12. Hi Robert if you could fill in this form https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?usp=drive_web&formkey=dHQ3YVVvYkdaWUVqTmgwSXQyMjE2YlE6MQ#gid=0
  13. Have you tried while live with an ECU?
  14. AIM should have the terminator in side so no need for an external one.

    Error code

This is likely to be the O2 input. It could be the sensor was unplugged. The error is volt 6 input at ground.
  16. By default we put out a pulse per TDC. So the tach would need to be geared for the number of cylinders in this case two. It could be that the tacho is geared for a coil negative signal in which case the ECU will not be able to drive it.
  17. Some throttles use a contact less setup that requires them to be powered to see a varying voltage. Subaru happen to be one. Your best bet will be to confirm the pins off the running car. You need to find the ground and 5 volt supplies. Then check the voltages off the remaining pins which you can do on your throttle by manually moving the plate. TPS Main should always be the one that spans the wider voltage range and continues to change through out the full travel.
  18. Speed and RPM can be supplied from the ECU Using available AUX outputs. The third might be a feed back to the ECU to let it know when power steer is active.
  19. Go with the voltage method. It will work well.
  20. Frequency will be 6kHz Narrow Band Filter the gain you will need to check on the engine as they all vary a little.
  21. Lets go back to the basics. Spark needs to be strong and at the right time all the time. You need compression You need fuel We need to find what is missing and then find the reason it is missing. If the car has run well on a set up in the past there is no reason those settings will not be correct now unless some thing has been changed on the car.
  22. Hi I would have to say I don't know. If you happen to know what the factory signals are like I can advise if this can be replicated.
  23. On 5.0.3 which I have here it is displaying correctly. Do you have the latest PClink version?
  24. When you say it burned a safety is this a fuse or circuit breaker that has been blowen? If so this is not likely to be caused just by moving the CAS. To have this happen there will likely be a wiring fault like a short circuit. If your timing was at -110 and looks correct try a offset of 250.
  25. Hi Bob #1 should be 0 and #2 at the number of degrees later that the second cylinder fires. Looking at the figures you have this will be 90 Â Sync mode will depend on what you have on the cam shaft. If its a single tooth that is a short pulse then it will need to be set as Cam x1
