  1. It certainly helps. Best is to chat to the sales team about what is involved. [email protected]
  2. The concern is that if one ground is not good there can be a voltage offset and cause the reading to be out. Best to ground back to the ECU grounding point.

    Glad its sorted.

Hi Dat14u The Dealer that did the install was Linktec in Timaru NZ You will find his contact information in the dealer list.
  5. The G4+ Knock Block is a pure audio amplifier. It has an audio out put via a 3.5mm jack only and power/volume control.
  6. One of those wires will have a variable voltage. You can tee off this wire and put it to a AN volt input. You will then have to measure the voltage vs pressure and enter a custom calibration in to the ECU. (I'm assuming that the sender unit operates a bit like a temp sensor and gives a varying resistance)
  7. Yep the signal can be shared from the yellow wire.

A resistance of 2.6Ohm is too low for a coil with a built in igniter. A coil with an igniter built in will be reading in the K Ohms range minimum 2.6 ohms will be trying to draw over 4.5 amps at ~12V the ECU drive can only support 2amps max. You can also check the ECU output with no coils connected using a test LED.
  9. Hmm the trigger errors point to issues around the cam or crank sensor. It will clock errors if teeth are not seen or if there is extra teeth (noise) on either input. It might be a case of having to put a scope on the triggers to check the signals.
  10. I would be very suspicious that the cam timing has changed / moved. On the early non vvt crank / cam triggers it only takes a cam to be out by 1 tooth to cause issues. You might be able to see this in a log of the Dwell time or there might also be trig 1 errors counting up.

    What version ECU

That there is a G1 Possum Link 44s ecu. You will need a serial link to connect to this and it used V2.5 PC link. Link to manual below. http://forums.linkecu.com/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=2528

Log wise I also notice the map is reading low, assuming you are not at high altitude. But this wont stop the coils firing. I would check the resistance of the coil between the power supply wire and the signal wire. Can you let us know what you measure.
  13. You can wire the first 6 injectors in sequential and then the second set in two groups of 3 and fire these in a group mode. ECU setting is sequential staged, the staged injectors are on drives 7 and 8.
  14. Hi Sutkale At this point it is going to be some time as it is not an issue for 99% of the users and unfortunately other items will be addressed first.

    Fuel pump control

In this mode the frequency is set by the setting on the Aux out set as FP Speed

Make sure you have a non driven speed input set up in the ECU. You will find this in the Chassis Body section.
  17. Hi Dinn We have found an issue with the lambda average reading not tracking Lambda 1 correctly. Will be a fix for this (with luck)up on the site today.
  18. I would check the injector dead times and the short pulse width adder table figures are correct for the injectors.
  19. Yep its going to have to come in. Once we see the unit it is typically a 1-2 day turnaround max 3 days. If sending in international make sure all item values are kept low as this will avoid customs wanting GST and clearance costs. Be sure to fill in the returns form. http://www.linkecu.com/contact/ecu-service-requests/
  20. I think the electromotive units are either 36-1 or 60-2 But for the trigger configuration you will need to set the mode as Multi-Tooth Missing Enter the tooth count 36 or 60 (need to count the teeth including the missing) Set number of missing teeth (2 or 1) Then in the trigger 2 menu go to sync mode and select none.
  21. Can you post your map or email it to us.
  22. Now it will be a case of using the ignition test and injector test functions. With this you can check each drive and hopefully isolate the problem coils or injectors. Also check the firing order is correct in the ECU set up.
  23. I have heard rumors of people talking to the E46 dash using the Mini CAN stream. But no specifics to really be able to advise.
  24. More like $150 and some freight. But generally a USB fix assuming a chip failure will just be the freight costs.
  25. The following will take you to the returns process. http://www.linkecu.com/ECU-Service-Requests
