Not sure what you are referring to. Are you able to get a screen shot?
-
Hi Yes the two units are pin compatible so you can retain your loom and fit the + version. We will still offer technical support for the G4 but there will be no new features added. If you have a look at http://www.linkecu.com/products/engine-management-ecus/g4plus-xtreme under bragging rights is the current new features over the G4

When using a USB to serial converter it needs its own drivers to work as a virtual com port. When the converter is plugged in to the PC it should assign a com port number to the device. This COM # will need to be lower than com 10 You can check this through device manager.

If you can get a scope capture when the engine is cranking showing both triggers I can look to see which toyota option will be the closest.
-
Cam now only has one tooth as the other teeth have been removed? If so the VVT is no longer an option as we need all 3 teeth.
-
Pinout attached. Volt# = Analogue in #
-
Yeah not much point in having both. It's more typical to wire a wideband in replacing the original narrowband.
-
You will need a AN volt free to take the AFR in put from the AEM.
-
Yep it wont be getting that.
-
There is a base map in the current PC link (off our test engine)
-
Can you confirm the trigger pattern on the cam signals, Are there 3 teeth at 90deg apart
-
If you are NZ based and the freight component is not going to be a big part I thought I should mention we are able to sell the connectors and terminals and will be in the ball park price wise looking at the RS prices.
-
Yep that would be totally fine.
-
That is a possum link for a RS legacy so could be used in a V1 WRX also.
-
Currently no way to do it without PC but a good idea to add to the list

The 1UZ with vvt can be wired and configured as per the 2UZ The Intake control can be controlled based on RPM using an AUX out set as a GP output. In the help file of PC link there is a drawing for the clutched type throttle.

Hi Steve I notice you have posted this in the G1 forum, are you planing on wiring a G1 ECU or do you have a later unit? As the early G1's will not work with the VVTi motors. The 1UZ with vvt can be wired and configured as per the 2UZ The Intake control can be controlled based on RPM using an AUX out.

Main area of concern will be make sure to follow the CDi installation instructions to the letter to including the twisted pair wiring to minimise any interference issues from electrical noise. Dwell table can be flattened to a fixed figure.
-
When is really an unknown. If it does become an option at all.
-
Not that I'm aware of. Some cleaver person might be able to nut it out but generally we only focus on the engine control.
-
Likely best to fix the internal one as it might be due to other internal issues.
-
If the factory system was happy im picking ours will be to as its looking for all the same signals.
-
We will continue to offer repair / servicing for many years to come. Bug fixes will also be implemented whenever it is possible.

There will be a sticker on the main micro with a 3 digit code from this I will be able to advise the unlock code.
