  1. On the hand control the TPS set up will be easier then on the PC. You can just use the adjust keys with throttle closed and then open to get 10 - 100. Once done make sure you do a store. A "Pill" Is only required if you are using a two port boost control solenoid.
  2. You could use a GP limit table based on the DI this would be your lower limit and the main RPM limit would be your upper limit.
  3. I don't know of any in existence currently. All the communication data stream is available in the VTS help file.

    Mixture map

You are correct in your thinking. As it is a tuning tool it will be assuming you are aware of corrections being applied at the time the log is taken.
  5. Hi Fred I can confirm they are AMP connectors. I don't have access to their part numbers however can happily supply you them as required.
  6. Hi Anthony Start with the basics check all connections including those in the engine bay. Relays fuses etc. 90% of the time the issue will be found outside of the ECU. Try to determine if it is fuel or ignition, Also if you can connect with the laptop while it happens and see if it drops the connection. If it drops the connection it could be the ECU is loosing power.

    Mixture map

Mixture map looks at the feedback from the wideband and then corrects the main fuel table. So if a trim is active and mixture is off it will continue to correct the main table. I have sorted out the access to the main forum.
  8. Hi John I don't know of any way to do this no problem to measure frequency but duty cycle is a different story.
  9. You can do a custom cal in PC link for the AEM and it will be fine to use.
  10. Yep PC link is able to run on windows 8.
  11. Long term wish list. Requires a lot of work to firmware, software and hardware.
  12. Timers were a relatively recent addition so if the map you are looking at is off firmware before timers were they will not show.
  13. If at all possible it is well worth getting a TPS on to the engine. The reason to go to later firmware is there are a large amount of bug fixes and improvements. If you want it active up till the point you reach boost you need to set the map lock out to 100kpa
  14. Hi any particular area you are looking for help with?
  15. That looks to be a promising engine code. It is on our list as a likely match but is untested.
  16. All will be revealed on the 14th which is the public release date. Logging has had an over haul.
  17. Hi Tom If you grab the PClink software the help file in this has the full can info. Just search for Device Specific CAN Information
  18. When trigger two is not selected it ignores the trigger two input and only operates of the crank sensor. As this is multi tooth missing it is able to sync and run wasted spark and group fire fuel. When you turn trigger two on or use a trigger mode that requires trigger two the signals are compaired and need to match exactly. If the tooth count or location is not as expect the engine will not run.
  19. There is for anti lag but not launch, but you then loose PC tuning
  20. Jose is correct. No launch or anti lag on that unit.
  21. Most likely fuel related. As this is in theory the only change. I would check injector dead times are correct and that master fuel has been adjusted to allow for the bigger injectors.
  22. No as the control required is beyond the ability of our current platform. It is however something that will have to come in time. As this type of engine is becoming almost the norm.
  23. The vvt will not stop the engine starting. You can normally configure triggers and get engine running before sorting out VVT control.
