  1. If you have the max clamp at 150 and the base table figures around say 70 how is the idle then?
  2. Yep max and min clamp settings will have the biggest impact on the reset.
  3. Two expansion connectors on the latest PCBs
  4. Thanks for advising all is solved
  5. A week power supply to the coils could be one thing. Check you still have a full 12~14V at the coil while the engine is running.
  6. All in the PC link software help file
  7. Have a check of the injector settings particularly the short pulse width adder table. Make sure you scroll right across it and check the settings. If you don't know the values they should all be set to 0.
  8. Due to the hardware required for the onboard wideband an upgrade is not going to be an option but it is certainly an option for new ECU designs.
  9. Yep fully enabled no upgrades figured this gives the best value option. And with the Vi-pec range not needing the differentiation the need for it was removed.
  10. Yep you could retain the distributor and run sequential fuel. With the ECU controlling both. That distributor should have a 24Tooth trigger and a single tooth as well which is all we need.
  11. Yep this could be the direction is wrong or it could be that the max step count is incorrect and the stepper is loosing its position at the end of the travel. You want it to reach fully open and then stop. It is not good if it sits rattling at the end of the travel.
  12. Correct. Any figure that is lower that the normal RPM limit will then act as a limit for the give MAP and AFR reading.
  13. Default layouts attached and an example one from Dave K which I'm sure he wont mind me sharing. If you could email/PM or post the map we can check the launch control out on the bench. DefaultLayout.llf DefaultLoggingLayout.llf DAVES LAYOUT R34 GTT SKYLINE_1.llf
  14. If you would like to post your map I can have a look for any settings that might have been missed.
  15. Hi Peter can you attach you PCL file from the ECU. There was and issue on earlier firmware versions that caused the lambda average to read incorrect when only one lambda input was used. I can then also check the COM settings to the dash
  16. Are the other functions coming through. I would check the Baud rate and data stream settings as the baud rate can change with a firmware upgrade.
  17. Correct you need to have the new ecu powered up and connected to PCLink then open the old map. It will then convert whilst loading to the ECU.
  18. The ECU would be capable of out putting out I suspect some of the information the unit would need like TPS and RPM but is also really easy to connect these without can. Its likely easier to wire for no can as a custom CAN configuration is not easy if the required stream data is not available.
  19. Due to the hardware being different the best upgrade path would be to sell on the V series and fit the I Series. The tune can be transferred over and the wiring is the same so no need to rewire.
  20. Its built in and in a recent change all options are now unlocked. It used to be a paid upgrade for the link range but that is no longer the case.
  21. Of course make sure you are online at the time too.
  22. Make sure you hit return/enter after typing in any numbers. Once you hit enter the change will take effect.
  23. The catch is we just don't have space left in the V series to get any more in. This is why the I series was produced so we could keep developing. So the short answer is no we can not add the kms support to the V series.
  24. It is a 4K7 to 5V on the trigger inputs.
  25. Just to be sure the cam is moving but it is not tracking the target accurately? Do you get any errors from the ECU? Would you be able to post your map and a log.
