    Injector Timing

Here is a starting point. My EJ257 with GSC S2 cams, head work.. and so on...
  2. Looks like your Overrun Deactivation is kicking in. (seems normal)

    AVCS

You could reverse the axis. RPM would have 11 and MAP would now have 16.
  4. Aquamist provies 4.7V under "no fault". (the one I use v3.11) (orange wire in this model) Have you you checked the voltage supplied ? From what I see the voltage is adjustable. (Link DI seems to operate on 5-14V) Your DI8 is linked to fuel table 2.. have you tested that it switches once a fault ? There are also dip switches for different safety modes on the Aquamist, check those as well.
  5. Look at your: Advance delay Advance rate in the Knock Setup section.

    IAT Correction

Can you attach the log ?
  7. From what I see your CLL ECT lockout was set to 248F ... in map v2.. essentially turning off the correction. v3 enables correction @ ECT 104F ... I also see your "102 octane switch" remaped to AC switch.. and.. Your "AFR lambda target" and "AFR lambda target 2" are the same up to 14.5 MAP.. then they scale different.. My guess .. you are running on high octane fuel without the ecu being aware of it.. If not .. the Modelled - Multi fuel is throwing things off as the other fuel's stoich is set at 10.14 AFR..

    Mixture Map

Did you check the rate (Hz) for PC logging ?

    charge temperature

Fuel Main --> Fuel Equation Mode = Modelled will "unlock" the Charge temp aproximation table.
  10. Hi. I have 2 fuel pumps. First is In tank and second in surge tank. I wanted to improve my "start/crank times" by enabling Pre-crank prime. (in tank takes 2-3 sec to air out and pump the surge tank, then the surge tank pump takes about 2 sec as well, both manually controled.) Original idea was to configure Virtual Aux to trigger "Ign Start Position" based on Fuel pressure input. I played with configs for few days but no luck.. Seems to me you can only trigger a physical Aux via a Virtual Aux ? My second option was to use Pre-crank Prime 3D table. Use "Key on". I've set it up but since I believe that its on right away when the ECU gets its power.. thus reading the Fuel pressure as 0 and not injecting. Btw.. I cant upload any more screenshots.. It says "You are only allowed to upload 10.24kB."

    Misfire

Post the map and the log where you have a missfire and I am sure somebody will be able to point anthing unusual.
  12. Have you checked some of these ? Causes of Dieseling Using the wrong spark plugs Spark plug tips covered in carbon Engine overheating EGR Valve Problems Vacuum leaks Idle too high Fuel injection problems Ignition timing too advanced Carbon buildup in the valves or combustion chambers
  13. Attach your log file plz.
  14. I was under the impression that his WBo2 is a separate wideband controller and he can feed the output from that into the ECU. You saying thats not the case with plug-in ECUs ?
  15. Not really such thing as "not supported". If it has an output lead you can scale that using a cal table. Usually is 0-5V You'd need to know the scale. (from the manual) I'd upload a pic but seems l"ve reached my upload limit.
  16. Did you check your model # to confirm which one you have ? Usually a wideband will provide output lead. You can hook it up to AN Volt input and scale it as per the manual using a Cal table or if you lucky enough from the pull down menu.

    B18 Turbo

Well.. there is more .. Your Injector duty is above 100% (107.5% to be exact) I'd upload a screenshot but I guess I've reached my limit.

    B18 Turbo

I've noticed that you are dropping your battery voltage starting at 4k rpm. (Alternator belt slipping ?) Also looking at your dwell table I only see commanding 1.7 or 1.8 ms between 13 and 14v. The only way I see you are getting 2+ms on the dwell is if you dropping below 12v. Hope this helps. One more thing.. you hitting your RPM limit as well as your MAP limit right after that.
  19. What's your settings look like for the pump.
  20. Hi. Take a look at this diagram and your wiring, maybe this is the issue.
  21. Hi. I've utilized all my Engine protection features but I have few unused tables. GP1 (oil pressure protection RPM limiting) GP2 (fuel pressure protection RPM limiting) RPM and MAP limits. I've enabled 4D Ignition table and set it up on MAP vs AFR.. where if AFR drops Ignition timing will be removed. Is it ideal.. no but at least it wont detonate your engine if you go really lean on boost. What you guys think ? Activation is on Virtual Aux 8 with throttle < 60%. (as on decel it did hit the cells)
  22. Are you running methanol ? Your fuel presssure sensor is scaled to 160psi .. just making sure it is 160psi one. Your TP and AP are all over the place without any rpm change. Your coolant temp drops very quickly after the engine shuts off.. I mean could be the thermostat opening.. but just odd. ECU is cutting Ignition thinking you changing gears. I'd make sure you have your throttle wired correctly and that its actually moving. (polarity ?) Disable things like boost, gear detection.. anything not needed and see if anything helps. I'd go as far as unpluging it from ECU as you seem to have an error. Run a scope check to make sure you triggers are correct. Check grounds as well.
  23. To me it looked like you need more fuel in the main fuel table. Than again, your log does not extend to normal operating temperatures. Glad it helped.
  24. Start by adding 10% in your fuel map. Your post start enrich should go to 0 , then your warmup enirichment should kick in and eventually go to 0 once the operating temperature is reached. (look at the image attached .. its from Link manual) Depending on engine but I keep my AFR around 13.5 for post start and warmup, tapering off to 14.7, once either your 02 correction kicks in or you reach your normal operating temperature. Post start enrich table is Coolant temp vs. % of additional fuel. The Help section has a nice write up as to what happens in steps.
