  1. Seems like you need more fuel. AFRs are dropping to 17 and engine is cutting off. From what I see the only reason it runs again is because "Post Start Enrich" seems to go up instead of down.. (which is odd)
  2. Here is what I noticed. Your accel enrichment is kicking in at very low TP delta. Increase your deadband so it stops from happening. Your TP seems to be relatively stable at idle where the accel is not kicking in. Start with 0.8 % and see if that helps..
  3. I think I found your problem.. Hopefully your engine is still intact.
  4. Your rpm ignition cut could have been caused by the Trig 1 error. You could try lowering the voltage for "Trigger 1 Arming Threshold Table" at 4-7K rpm from 5V to say 3V and see if things improve and errors go away.
  5. No. Level was good. Hook it up to a laptop and download the NCH software. Make sure its charged if you havent. Maybe thats your problem ? I find it that 1/4 turn on the gain is just the right level in my laptop without clipping the audio.
  6. I found out that recording the audio works much better. Old link manual has a step-by-step procedure how to graph the knock and focus on the areas of interest. http://www.enginelogics.com/wp-content/uploads/pdf/knockblock.pdf (Staring section 3.2.2) You might want to play around with frequency filters and speeds once you have a sample. I had audio split, feeding the Link software and the NCH software but I cant really distinguish the knock by just looking at the Link graph. So now I just record and analyze in NCH only.

    Gear position loss

Thanks. Will give it a try.

    Gear position loss

Any reason why my gear info would dissapear while driving? Gear ratio Calc does show a value, table is configured but it doesnt seem to register. Logged Value Crosshair dissapears as well. Its not gear related as 2nd, 3rd, 5th and 6th seem to dissapear. Thanks Remi
  9. You are not running any Lambda fuel correction. Your Lambda correction is off due to TP lockout. Change it to 10% and it should start working. Keep in mind it will turn off at 11% so use your discretion to the value. Delta lockout to 5% Your CLL gain table is empty too. Lambda rate is 1 so corrections will be slow.

    unstable ilde

Hi. Fix your ignition so it doesnt jump from 32 to -2 deg during idle. Next increase your idle base position table at lower ECT you have 335 at 70C and it idles ok, yet you have 300 when it stumbles. Hope this helps.
  11. Wouldnt that be a really bad resolutoin ?
  12. You can wire a relay to turn on your PS pump via the ecu signal. I believe GP output say with a condition (if engine speed is greater than, 900 then it would turn on) Not sure how you would use can here.. unless your pump has a CAN module. Remi
  13. did you look into what I said about MAP sensor ?
  14. 2nd thing.. you never leave the post start enrichment. Log shows 5 mins your ECT peaks at 50F. I get 160F around 5 min mark. Seems like your ECT sensor is plugged in somewhere else.
  15. Your map voltage jumps in volts.. This being it only shows 1 digit instead of 3. There is no 1.05 or 2.55.. its just either 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 Next.. your voltage drops from 14 to 13v multiple times.. Is your electrical system OK ?
  16. Your ECT and IAT are way off from each other. They should be pretty much the same and showing ambient temp during cold start.
  17. For bulkhead ..look up Deutsch AS connectors if you havent already. Not cheap by any means. Youd need a mil-spec crimper as well.

    3rd cam pulse

Just an update. Replacing the cam sensor fixed the errors. Thanks Remi
  19. Hi. I've been fiddling with my maps for 9+ months, learning all the tiny bits here and there. One of my bigger struggles is finding a correctly tuned map with a log to back it up. I've downloaded a bit less than 100 maps off this site studying them and guessing which parameters are correct. Problem is I dont really know what a correct pull looks like. My guess is that the AFR going rich once the throttle plate is closed is normal.. is the fuel dip at 3000 rpm a normal occurence ??? and so on .. and so on.. What I ask for is for you guys (and gals) to post maps and logs that you think are correctly tuned. (pulls and rolls) While lots of variables will be engine specific, it will still give us (beginners) a better understanding of the overall picture. It will answer those little questions that you dont bother to ask. This will lead to people asking less questions as there will be a lot of answers in a correctly mapped files. Next thing would be creating How-to's section. Scaling sensors, knock setup, sensor testing would all go in there. I really like the support you guys provide, responsiveness and I feel we can take this forum to a next level. Adam, Simon ?? Anyone ? Thanks Remi
  20. Hi. I've used RPM/kmh and it worked. There is also a "Gear Ratio Calc. (RPM/kmh)" log variable that will give you all your gear points without pulling out a calculator. Thank you. Remi
  21. Thanks.. Will give it a shot.
  22. Hi. Is there a way to manually calculate the Gear Ratio Table from logged data ? As I am street tuning the car by myself. I've read that "Gear Ratio = Engine Speed (RPM) / Speed sensor frequency (Hz)". Is that correct ? and if so which value is used.. as the frequency has a range in perticular gear. Thank you Remi
