  1. The value of the pullup resistor will mainly influence the reading precision at high or low temps. It is not needed to use the value they give. A smaller pull up will help with reading at higher temp which is what we want Internal 2k pull up will do all you need.
  2. Maybe add a trigger scope to the files you posted so Adam can have all the tools. Are you sure that when you said that 1 bank is at 0 it corresponds to the mechanical tdc and not some unprecise markings?
  3. What is your trigger system?
  4. What Adam meant was to reduce the threshold, not bump it up
  5. Is you map sensor now connected directly to the intake manifold? Or is it still like stock with manifold -filter - solenoid -map sensor? It may be adding a small delay in map signal that causes this issue. It least I have experienced an improvement in that regards after pluging the map directly
  6. Trigger errors may induce unreliable rpm like you shown during shut off. Engine can be turning over without the ecu showing rpm. Ecu needs first to sync with the triggers and will then show rom. So the beginning is maybe starter motor engaged and during the sync process it gave 2 errors, synced showed rpm, and gave a 3rd error afterwards. Nothing to be worried about I would say
  7. looking back at my request on that car, seems like his issue with starting came with WW comp I'm running like shown in the cal file 60% wallwetting, 0.3ms asyncro and 2.0 accel sens table. when I did tune it, increasing WW did help quite alot with accel enrichment, but it seems like it was written that it inpeeds my startin problems (exactly like him, either it starts, or its flooded like shown by the very low afrs on misses) how shouls I go about it? remove also ww and increase accel sens table?

    Ecu security

Is there any Kind of aftermarket can antitheft devices? Or oem ones that can be used on different vehicles?
  9. When you put this temp sensor on an an temp input and the pull up is enabled you just need to fill the calibration table with Ohm vs temp values directly
  10. I have faced the same Problem on a Subaru. Fiddling with the fuel table at low rpm did somewhat help but I wasn't able to get the instant start and reliable start of the g4+
  11. I think that may sounds like wrong injector dead times? (Too high in that case) Have you got it setup with the right values?
  12. They changed the apparent offset on g4x for it to be closer to 0. That is why you encounter such a big difference

    Faults

That is pretty common to get such codes when the ecu is powered up with not all sensor connected. Did you already do a "reset" Of the codes and they came back? If not that would be the first thing to do. They may be older codes.
  14. you are maybe getting some confusion there, both aftermartket "wideband" and sotck "narrowband" sensors are o2 sensors. If you use one wideband, as long as it is after the merge of the two banks then it will be better than stock o2 and you don't need it.
  15. stock o2 sensor on e36s are not wideband, they are narrowband. they should be connected to AN Volt if you want to use that, but you will not be able to read afr with that
  16. aftermarket wideband o2 can be plugged onto any 0-5v analog input. it it's a can lambda from link then it's Can only

    any suggestion?

what are the faults you read?
  18. The find device will only work with the link Can lambda controlers. Other do not appear there. But if everything is set correctly it should read and show the lambda value
  19. Look after your EGT's and test to reach what you want
  20. Yes possible. But unless you have a STI 6 speed swap you are going to grenade that 5spd transmission in no time!
  21. On the v4 subarus there is no way to have enough air go through the engine to make a real antilag. So either you have a mechanical throttle kick or you will need to live with the little to no effect of the standard IACV
  22. I think an easier solution would be to use something like CAN SWITCH BOARD V3 from ecu master. You could input the 0-5V on that expansion board and use the can function for that Quoting Adam:
  23. No, it i's rather 90° between the sensor and the gap. With cyl1 at tdc your sensor can be anywhere angle wise but the gap should be 90° before or after
  24. If I am not mistaken this engine has direct injection. So the xtrem will not be able to control that. Furthermore I don't think any of the CANbus communication is available on this plateform with link so that may be an issue too.
  25. I promise I searched deep into the pclinkg4 help and even used the search function but didn't find it. I got it now. thank you!
