  2. HI Dan its going to depend on the sensors you choose to use for the pickups. But the general gist is that what was the 360 signal will need to be moved to the crank sensor and the other 180 signal will need to stay on the cam position input.
  3. HI Tommy If you set this up much like a 1UZFE Toyota (also a twin distributor V engine) In ignition mode you will need to select the twin distributor mode.
  4. If the RC1000 injectors are low impedance (peak and hold) then you will need to refit the ballast pack. If they are high impedance (saturated) injectors then the ballast should be left out. You will be able to get this close by reducing the master fuel. To get it close if you take your existing master fuel and multiply in by 0.7.

Make sure you have a non-driven wheel speed selected. If you only have the one speed input you can set it to be both driven and non-driven. You do this through the chassis and body menu.
  6. For the idle control if its set up in the ECU checking it does a reset is a good way to tell that its working. It should open fully and then close part way during the reset. It is typical for a O2 sensor to read 0V at key on engine not running. For the fuel pressure you will need to select the sensor type or do a custom cal if its not one in the list.
  7. The way the ECU reads the assigned outputs it will only operate one of the two.
  8. Using a GP limit will allow this. Here is an example limiting the engine based off fuel pressure and engine load.
  9. Yeah have to eat my words on this one ill blame it on the Engineers!
  10. If you use the shift key to open two tables and then change one to the graph view it will give you both. Ill get the engineers to check on this as it does it for me too.
  11. Yeah it would help having a hand controller but they don't come up all that often.
  12. No need to up the wire size as it will be more than enough. Currents should be very low even with multiple sensors.
  13. They will be all good up to 40+volts off a reluctor input.
  14. Hi For this to work with the V44 you will need to use a converter to change the signal to a on / off type (digital) As the ECU is not geared to be able to accept a 0-5V signal for a gear cut function. http://www.geartronics.co.uk/flatshift.htm This would be a good interface option. Off note the i44 / G4+ range of ECUs can accept the input directly with out the need for a converter.
  15. Not an easy one to add to the thunder in its current format. But will be a consideration for future development.
  16. Yep that would be an option and they are very capable.
  17. Hi Cole We would pass that on to a dealer to do that service. After a bit of a google search to learn what NLTS was I can say that yes the G4 upgrade will give you the option of gear cut control.
  18. Serial link should be ok if its new. No easy external signs for the ECU power only that it will talk to a serial link or hand control. And checking that there is power and ground on the correct pins. You should have Power to pin B43 pin 2 and or 13 and a ground on pin B43 11 and or 22
  19. Hi Serkan To toggle the graph you will need to have it selected it will not follow the table. Currently its not an option to reverse the graph view but it is something the engineers are aware of.

Woops sorry was thinking it was the V6 you had! On an inline engine you will of course only have one intake cam to worry about. So in this case it will be assigned as Inlet/LH don't worry about the LH designation as this is only applicable when applied to boxer or V engines. We will need to know the tooth pattern on the cam is it 3 teeth at 90deg to each with a gap or is it 3 evenly spaced teeth? This will effect the cam vvt mode selected.
  22. Yep should work in that order. I have seen some USB adapters not work so could be worth trying another brand. Failing that it could be a serial link or ribbon cable issue or a hardware issue on the ECU.
  23. ECU will need power to allow it to connect. Make sure you plugin the Serial link in to the ECU first then the USB adapter to the PC. Once all connected the ECU can then be powered up.

Hi James Cam type for trigger 2 vvt will be Inlet/LH Came type for Di will be Inlet RH Cam control mode 2GR-FE When going through the set up if you are unsure of a function right click on the function and it will bring up the help file info for it. This should explain almost all functions well. If you search 2GR in the help file this will also have a lot of applicable information. The reason there is no specific 1GR map is due to us not having done one inhouse. We only have maps for cars or engines that we have had as inhouse test units.
