  1. What ECU do you have? Can you give us some pictures of the CAN connection to the ECU.

    L67 CRANK SENSOR

Does yours also have a cam sensor or just the two on the crank?
  3. Aux 4 is not exposed on that ecu. There is no problem with using Inj 6.

    factory setting

Not really sure what you mean. Start by using the file compare function to highlight the difference between your map and the base map. Then you can either manually change things to match or use the import/export functon for tables etc.
  5. That is not an x-series, our AEM calibration clearly says X-Series. You will have to enter a calibration as per the datasheet. Again, this will only affect the display in the ECU, not the gauge.
  6. Do a triggerscope and log next cold start to see what is going on there. The AFR oscillation looks like it is coming from the wideband device to me since it has the same amplitude and frequency regardless of load, RPM and during overrun etc. Does the AN Volt 4 voltage flatline with the engine off?
  7. The plug-in ECU auxes are lowside drive only (switch to ground).

    factory setting

Yes, it will wipe out everything.
  9. The calibration is correct for the AEM X series.
  10. The ECU cannot affect the AFR reported by the gauge - unless you have closed loop lambda enabled and the ecu is making adjustments when you connect the gauge.
  11. It is pretty useful to have turbine inlet temperature if you are running lots of retard on launch or ALS etc. It may also help you see bank to bank variation if the intake manifold design is biased or if it has 2 plenums. If you want individual cylinder EGT's then you can use a CAN bus egt amp.
  12. Are you saying PC Link reads different than the gauge? Have you confirmed the gauge is outputting the correct voltage for the reported AFR? What model gauge is it and what calibration are you using?
  13. Master fuel is used to scale the fuel. Make the master smaller gives less fuel. Have you checked base timing?
  14. I see you have the DI2 pull-up resistor turned on, as far as I remember the Vcam sensor is a reluctor so this should be off.
  15. So is it an old red G4 Xtreme? Is the engine E-throttle or cable throttle?
  16. The NS15X is definitely out of stock. I dont have any info on when they are expected though sorry.
  17. Enter or mouse click should do it.
  18. Please do a log. Does it show correct RPM when cranking? Yes, either is fine. It wouldnt be common to keep the narrowband oxy sensor in a performance application however.

    Trigger Error

Assuming the secondary ground (pin C) wire is not crimped in the same lug as the ecu grounds, the first thing I would try is temporarily moving that to ground somewhere else. Even if it is just via a small jumper lead to the block or somewhere else on the head. I have heard of guys having issues grounding to the same point as ecu before and moving it to a different lug 6 inches away solved it... I personally usually do it how you have done it without drama but it is worth trying as a test.

    Trigger Error

Are the coil primary & secondary grounds going to the same point as ECU? Can you do us a scope at the higher RPM when the error occurs. And also a log when the error occurs.

    Trigger Error

I'd say you potentially have some ignition noise interfering with the trigger as load increases. 4500RPM would be near peak torque when the ign system is working its hardest. Your 3000RPM scope looks ok, but the 4000RPM scope has a ~40V spike coming through on the cam signal right in a place where there shouldnt be a cam signal. If you zoom into the crank signal you can see some spikes in some areas also, but they arent bad enough to cause a problem in these scopes but if they got bigger at higher load they could be. What engine is it and what do you have for an ignition system? Does it have resistor spark plugs?
  22. You are posting in the V series forum so I assume you have an old V series ECU? The OEM CAN structure and all relevant math is hardcoded in the firmware. We stopped developing the V series in 2013 so we will not be doing any future updates for it. We have always advertised the Mini ECU as "Chronopack not supported". The user CAN in the V series is quite basic and wouldnt be flexible enough to build a custom stream to duplicate the OEM stream. On the other hand if you have a current generation ECU (G4X) then we would be happy to add the chronopack messages to the CAN stream if you provide the info.

    VG30dett rpm issue

If it has a missing tooth wheel then it should be set to multitooth missing.
  24. It wont work if you have the bus set to 500K, or the AEM device connected to the same bus.
