You're correct in that it mostly looks like it is due to accel enrichment being continuously applied because of a noisy TP signal. It might be the TP sensor that is faulty - but since your MAP signal is also quite noisy I'm more suspicious something must be injecting noise into your sensor ground or 5V. The 5V supply in the ECU shows steady in the log. Can you try disconnecting the lambda (power wires) and see if TP settles down? Otherwise I would be looking for a bad ground or something... Also turn off IAT correction - in modelled mode this shouldnt be needed.

Yes sorry that is probably poor terminology on my part. By map I meant "Tune", "config", "calibration", or whatever you want to call it. A file with a .pclr extension.
  3. I dont think we could support this combo. 1st problem: We presently dont have any ECU with proper auto trans strategies, you can often get them to work reasonably with the GP functions we have available but it could soak up many hours of testing. You would need a very good understanding of how the trans works and what signals and strategies it needs. 2nd problem: Much of the dashboard, air con and other functions in the car talk to each other using Toyotas "BEAN" network. Only our Altezza plugin has a BEAN controller onboard and it is not configurable. It is unknown whether the Alteeza BEAN messages match the IS200 so it would be a gamble. The Altezza plugin could run a 2J, but doesnot have enough spare I/O to do anything for the trans.

  5. It would typically not be essential on these types of coils where the ground is connected directly to the head or block.
  6. 740KPa is 107Psi and 518KPa is about 75Psi, so that suggests it is reading correctly now?
  7. Can you give us a photo of the disc inside the distributor and connector.

If you post a log and map we will take a look.
  9. Your Cal 4 is in PSI, it needs to be in Kpa for CAN devices. It looks like your fuel and oil press arent being used for anything except logging so it wont hurt anything to change the cal to KPa units. Try changing cal 4 to look like below. I suspect you may still find the pressure displayed wrong (10X) on the dash which is a AIM problem but there are a couple of ways we can fix that if needed. Let me know how pressures display on dash after changing this cal.
  10. That's weird that the odo signal comes from the engine ECU, you would normally expect it to come from the ABS module? There is no way to do this at present, unfortunately that is the problem with OEM buses - all manufacturers dream up some different way of transmitting the data, many with arithmetic applied or bit stuffing etc so there are just too many possibilities to cover with a set of generic CAN functions. We would typically need to write a predefined stream to get this sort of function working, and that would be weighed against demand. As luck would have it I believe we are working on a plugin solution for this platform in the near future so there may be some hope. I will talk to the engineers next week and see if I can get any more info.
  11. Here is me doing a quick test: https://1drv.ms/u/s!AiYbYlZQuRHPmFthwc8itTAJJO3k I also tried 12Hz cont after this video and that seems to work ok for me too. I am using firmware 4.10.2.
  12. I expect you will only find the "telemetry" streams coming out of the "communications port", not the USB tuning port?
  13. Is yours a V series or I series ECU? If a V series then any data sent over CAN must be calibrated in the ECU's native units. The native units for pressure is KPa. Can you attach your map.
  14. Hi Neil, It is a fairly simple mod - just removing a couple of components. However it is all tiny surface mount electronics so it should really be done by someone with electronics experience. If you are competent working with surface mount electronics or have a local electronics guy available I would be happy to give you instructions. It is also a free of charge service if you want us to do it - just shipping each way might be significant depending on where you are.
  15. Is the dash connected via serial or CAN? Are you on latest firmware?
  16. There was some odd pressure scaling errors in the early MXS dash firmware (maybe still) but it reads out by a factor of 10, - i.e reads 7Kpa instead of 70Kpa so that doesnt sound like your problem.
  17. Adjust the "Master Fuel" number smaller until it runs reasonable, before starting work on the main fuel table.
  18. Surely whoever wired it must know how they work? Have they been connected to an aux output? Do they turn on and off when you use test mode?
  19. It looks to me like the settings in the V3/4 basemap will be close enough. Since these are relatively small (by today's standards), provided he is using traditional fuel equation and the engine has an alternator then accurate deadtime will be of little consequence. There are a variety of methods a tuner can use to do a quick deadtime check, see my post here for one method: This doesnt sound right? I cant think of any reason we would be asking for deadtimes?
  20. Does the pressure read correct in VTS?
  21. Sheild and one wire should connect together somewhere near the ECU then connect to Pin 50. The other wire goes to pin 23. Polarity at the sensor connector is not important.
  22. If you want to be 100% sure then run a new 2 core screened cable.
  23. Im pretty sure originally the screen had a terminal on it and was used as the signal ground also. I wonder if yours has been modified? Some of the similar Bosch sensors could ground through the bolt boss but I dont think the Nissan sensors had continuity to the bolt hole. I would crimp a new terminal on the screen and give it a try, it should be fine.
  24. Hi, Sorry I missed your earlier post. Not when using a predefined "OEM" stream. Probably unlikely due to the popularity of the platform. We usually need to buy or borrow a car for a few weeks to reverse engineer the can bus and test is under many conditions etc. So we need to weigh the cost of doing so against the likely number of ecu's this stream would sell. I can probably knock you up something for this. What did you want to use the "shifter position" for? I think I could only really bring this in as a CAN digital input, something like "park/neutral" status.
