  1. No the adapter loom is wrong. The IS300 ecu doesnt even use that adapter loom. You will need to swap the two wires in position O15 and O16.
  2. Ok that worked. So it looks like trigger 1 and 2 are swapped (cam is wired to crank, crank is wired to cam). Originally you said "im using a plug n play in an is300", but we dont make a plug-in for those. Is this using our Altezza plug-in with a modified loom? or the JZX plug-in? or a wire in ECU with some 3rd party adapter loom?

Looking at your code that you posted earlier, you will need a "break" at the end of case 130. If that still doesnt help, then to diagnose further I would start by commenting out all the other cases except RPM and you could try reducing bit rate to 250K to see if that helps. Many of the arduino CAN libraries are quite poorly written and dont loop fast enough or have enough buffer to work reliably especially with compound messages, which is why I said right at the start to send only one frame per ID. But generally if there is only 3 or 4 frames it should be ok.
  4. The stall in that log is not caused by idle settings, I suspect the cold start enrichment or possibly a couple of cells in your fuel table arent quite right but with no lambda we cant really tell.
  5. 350Z TB pinout is in the help file: Wiring Information > Output Wiring > E-Throttle > Specific E-Throttle Applications > Nissan VQ35 You will have to search online for the pedal.
  6. If you change to modelled mode there is an air per cylinder estimated channel. In traditional then you will have to do something like MAP x RPM externally to get an estimation.
  7. The triggerscope shows nothing, I assume you have done it wrong. Make sure you click the capture button while the engine is cranking, then keep it cranking for a few seconds more..
  8. Any of the Evo base maps will be close enough, however there are several variations of 4G63 trigger systems. What specific engine do you have? Can you attach a log of it cranking and your tune.
  9. can you attach a triggerscope and a copy of your tune. Does it have a cam sensor and flywheel sensor or just flywheel?
  10. I will add it to the wish list. In the meantime, most people use "percent" for fuel level. 100% means full.
  11. The ecu doesnt control the starter motor, so it is nothing to do with the map. If it doesnt crank you have a wiring/battery/starter motor issue.
  12. It will still start and still run sequential but it will take more attempts to get it started since synchronisation will just be luck of the draw. Approx 50% of start attempts it will spark on exhaust stroke so wont start, so you stop cranking, try again, eventually it will spark on the correct stroke and run. However, out of the probably many hundreds of ecu's I have tuned over the last 25 years I dont think I have ever seen a map sensor hose come off or even a map sensor fail completely - so I think the chances of this happening are pretty remote.
  13. It is only needed at startup, once synchronised the engine can stay synced using crankshaft alone.

It could be surge or the BOV or the wastegate, which is why I suggested unplugging the solenoid then you can rule out the ecu causing it.

    Bmw s50b30 engine

There are two different cam patterns for this engine, some have 8 evenly spaced teeth, some 6+1, which is why the triggerscope is needed.

There will be less than a couple of amps going through this relay.
  17. Something wrong with the permissions on the shared file. Right click on it in google drive, choose share, then make sure the permissions thing is set to "anyone with link".

Sorry, I did reply a couple of days ago but it didnt post correctly for some reason, I just came back and my reply was still sitting in the editor. What happens if you unplug the boost solenoid? It is all done with solidstate electronics on the adapter board. But below would be effectively how it worked if you used a relay:
  19. Ok, you are in luck then. The G4X has a new MAP sync feature, if you connect a MAP sensor to a single intake runner, it can use the MAP sensor to detect the intake stroke instead of using a cam sensor. This will give you full sequential fuel and direct spark ignition capability. Here is a little video explaining some of it: https://www.instagram.com/tv/CC1QR5IHzve/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link
  20. Is it single throttle body? or ITB's? Boosted or naturally aspirated? Will the engine be used on the road or for racing only?
  21. If you had ECU logging recorded then you should have data in the memory. What failed?

Sorry for the slow reply. Yes, it looks like a bug. I will pass it on to engineering.
