  1. File>open. It doesnt even need to be your map, just open one of the base maps
  2. It doesnt need to be connected, you can just open your map offline.

    4d fuel negative value

Yes it is normal to have -ve numbers in the 4D table with this type of strategy, far less common to have positive numbers. As you increase boost, turbine back pressure increases so VE reduces therefore you need less fuel. Was the only change injectors, or has there been some other change compared to the previous tune?
  4. It is greyed out because there is nothing to display. You will either need to connect to an ecu or open your ecu map before you will be able to select or modify the layout.
  5. Assuming you have set base timing and checked all sensors are reading correctly etc then you should be fine to drive it gently on this. I would take 5deg out of that ignition table as a couple of areas look a little aggressive to me such as around 4500/100Kpa. Temporarily set the MAP limit low (say 120Kpa) wouldnt be a bad idea too.
  6. Can you give us a photo or screenshot, I cant understand what you are talking about.

    Welcome

    2. There is a 2JZ supra base map in PC Link. 3. Yes, all our G4+ ECU's are flex fuel capable. 4. That should be no problem.

    Thunder wheel sensor

Hi Daniel, I believe this car would have active speed sensors, they are not widely used in the aftermarket world so its not going to be easy to make them work. Although they put out a square wave similar to a hall effect sensor, I believe the driver circuit (originally in the ABS unit) is critical to get the output to span a usable voltage range. Normally we get wheel speeds over CAN from the ABS unit in the 350Z, have you removed the ABS? You can refer to this document to understand how to make those sensors work if you no longer have the ABS unit: https://www.motec.com.au/filedownload.php/CTN0007 Magneto Resistive Sensors.pdf?docid=3634 For our DI's you just need the voltage from the sensor to go above 1.5V and fall bellow 1.2V.
  9. This is where you set if you want the launch control to cut ignition or fuel. It depends on the other setting above "Ign retard mode". You currently have it set at "degrees", so an ign trim of -10 will retard the timing by 10 degs (taken off your current ign angle). +10 would advance the timing.
  10. Ok, thanks for the video. The virtual aux is actually working ok (if you check the virtual aux runtime you will see it is on), but the problem is something wrong with Aux 17, it seems it is not looking at the VA6-8. Aux 17-20 appear to all have this same problem. I will pass on to engineering to fix. In the meantime, can you shuffle some of your virtual auxes around so that you use say VA 6 or lower on aux 17, you can still use VA7& 8 for other functions, just not to drive aux 17.
  11. You have launch limiting mode set to off.

Try clearing it and if it comes straight back it means whatever temp sensor is normally connected to AN Temp 2 is either dead or unpluggged (or wiring broken). It will not prevent the car from starting though.
  13. Unfortunately we have a bit of conflicting info about the 2GR trigger. Our internal trigger documentation says trigg 2 should be rising, the eng specific info in the PC Link help file says falling. Im not sure which is right but Ill try to test it on the bench in the next couple of days. Also the same documents give conflicting trigger offset, the internal document says 145deg, the help file says 0. At least this can be checked with a timing light. I believe the cam sensors on these are quite fussy and need a well-matched pull-up resistor added into the wiring. The pull-ups in the ECU should be turned off. Info below:
  14. What conditions are you using? I tested RPM, TP & MAP and they are working ok for me. Maybe post a pic of your setup.

    Thunder wheel sensor

If they are two wire sensors the wires need to be connected to the DI11-16 +/- pins.
  16. Here is the RX8 throttle info from 5.6.6:
  17. There is also an "arming time" setting that you can use to prevent that. If set to 5 seconds for instance it means the handbrake has to be "up" for more than 5 seconds before Launch control is activated.
  18. Although Richards suggestion above will work fine, I dont really see any need for the arming switch. Does it really matter if you always get a reduced RPM limit when the handbrake is on?
  19. The S15 ecu has two expansion ports. Expansion connector 1 has the 2 temp inputs and 2 volt inputs, your pressure sensors connect to volt inputs. If you need more than that there are another 4 volt inputs on expansion connector 2.
  20. Did you do the cam angle test to confirm the offset? Can you attach a copy of your tune file.
  21. Try attached. I have created both KPa and Psi channels for your pressure inputs. rev5.1.aemcd7

The blue light will flash error codes if they are present. Count the flashes and decode as below. report back what fault codes you have.

    Flat Shift

Your log shows you only have a total torque reduction time of 250ms so you arent going to be able to improve it a lot assuming this is a synchro gearbox. With both the start cut and end cut set to DI, the ECU has to wait until the clutch is fully out before it can start removing the cut. You could try changing end shift mode to time, so then you just get a fixed length of cut. You can generally get a tighter shift cut doing this provided the driver is reasonably consistant with his shift speed.

So do you get an error message or anything? Do you have a Link ECU showing up in windows device manager under com ports like the image below?
