  1. Are you on the latest firmware 6.18.*? I know there was some recent changes to virtual aux fans so at least in recent firmwares it should work how you you have it set up. In firmware priror to 6.17 you had to have an actual aux output assigned for it to work correctly. Please let me know if you are on recent firmware and it still doesnt work, I will do a bit more testing later tonight.

    R53 mini ecu unlock

Not case sensative. What is your serial number and unlock code you have been given? Is it a G4+ or G4X?
  3. Ok, it looks like you coast with the clutch in from quite a high speed, so I have changed the speed lockouts to see if that helps. The speed lock out and over-run fuel cut too close to idle looks like the cause of the oscillation when coming to a stop, so i've tried to improve that. Have also adjusted the cold proportional so hopefully that will fix the cold oscillation. Idletweeks2.0.pclr

    R53 mini ecu unlock

    What trouble are you having?

    Gear Detection

Not quite sure what you are talking about, but if your worried about you PC Link layout, then go >layout>save layout as, and name it something other than "default".
  6. Can you attach your tune, I want to see if idle ign can be used to better control that fan load.
  7. You need to set the analog error values outside of the normal working range. Generally something like below will work well for a 0.5-4.5V sensor.

    Gear Detection

Check you are using the latest firmware, gear detection calibration was fussy in earlier firmwares so it has recently been improved. If it still doesn’t work for you with latest firmware the do us a short log of a drive through all gears
  9. It will most likely use our WRX107X ecu, but in the GDB cars there is a little overlap and some cars use the WRX104X ecu. These two ecu's look identical, just the pinout is different. So before committing you need to confirm what you car has by inspecting the wiring. You need to look at the left hand main plug on the ECU (Plug A), check if there are any wires in the holes for position A1, A2, A3. If your car has wires fitted in these 3 positions then you need to order the WRX104X ecu, if there are no wires in A1/2/3 then you need the WRX107X ecu.
  10. Agree with Remski, it is just coming from your VE table. With fan off fuel table is 44%, MAP is 49kpa, inj PW is 1.15-1.19, with fan on fuel table is 47%, MAP is 53, inj PW is 1.4ms. That is about 18% more fuel going in. I suggest you greatly simplify that fuel table, there is no need to have that many breakpoints at low RPM/low loads, VE isnt going to drastically change in this area as there isnt much going on in terms of effects from overlap, wave tuning and scavanging etc (unless it is a big cam but your MAP signal doesnt look like it). A column at close to normal idle speed and 500RPM either side should be all you need. Load breakpoints at 20kpa increaments should be fine too. I always start with as little breakpoints as possible and only add extras if there is a drastic change in VE that is not linear. Below is an example fuel table from the last LS I tuned. Even in this one the first 3 columns are nearly the same so I could delete two of them with little effect.
  11. If it is hunting with the idle valve closed or at a fixed position then there is something else tune related going on. Attach a log and your tune if you want me to take a look.
  12. Ok, so now we have confirmed it is related to that recent firmware change I will feed that info back to engineering and get some advice. They were talking about possibly having to give you a special firmware with some extra debug variables added to give us more info as it syncs reliably everytime when testing on a simulated engine. Unfortunately the main Firmware engineer is away most of next week so there will be a bit of a delay before I get back to you. You will have to stick with 6.16 for a while longer sorry.
  13. Yes, thats looking more like it. Give it a run with that last file and see how it goes.
  14. What doesnt work? All channels or just ethanol? is it displaying zero or the wrong value or nothing?
  15. Connect the "input" wires to the "output" wires.
  16. Your crank sensor appears to be a reluctor. Change trigger 1 type to reluctor and it should be ok.
  17. Yes, you could use a missing tooth crank wheel with a two tooth cam using the "cam pulse window" feature. But it will be nice to get this OEM trigger working correctly first.
  18. Sorry, I had somebody elses 4AGE map open which had the IAC set up problem. Yours looks ok. You should be able to completely close the idle valve so a restrictor shouldnt be needed. Does the idle slow down if you unplug the valve?
  19. There is a bug in the current firmware where the outputs for 3 wire idle valves sometimes dont get assigned properly. I just checked your map and it is showing this problem. If you look at the output pins folder at aux 1 & 2 they are both showing as "complimentary PWM", aux 1 shouldnt be complimentary. To fix, go to your idle speed control settings, change the output to "none", then change it back to "Aux1/2", it should get assigned correctly 2nd time around.
  20. Can you change the polarity on ign drive 8 to low and try again.
  21. Hard to guess without some data. Can you share the log and some screenshots of your problem.
  22. Its still a little slow to hit target. Can you do the same again with this file. 23.09_Linkecu-AdamIdleTweak-1-MapV4.pclr
  23. Can you attach your tune, and also do a short log of you running the TP cal process.
  24. As above you can use a GP output using either a voltage window, or as below use gear >9, <11 (reverse is gear 10).

    Autotrans Fan

Setup like below would turn on the fan at 90 and it would stay on until temp dropped below 87.
