When I get some time I'll have to take some videos of the phenomena I'm trying to describe to make it clearer what I'm seeing.

I think they are part of the flywheel and not visible in most of these rover engines.  We would be able to confirm what you have from a trigger scope though.

    Thanks,
Had a chat with phone support, seems to be a bug in the version. I am going to upgrade and report back

With help from adam I was able to setup CAN communication to the Lotus factory dash, the dash in question is refered to as the white face dash and is used in the 2zz powered Elise and Exige circa 2007.
The following can be communicated to the dash
    Speedo
    Engine speed RPM
    Fuel tank level
    Coolant Temperature
    CE Light
    TC Light
    Oil Pressure light
    Shift Light
Provided you have wired in your CAN 2 into the chassis CAN circuit you will just need to configure the following
    Bit Rate 1mb
wheel speed Start position 0 width 8
Engine speed Start position 16 width 16
Fuel Level Start position 32 width 8
Coolant Temp Start position 40 width 8 offset 17
CE Light Start position 54 width 1
TC Light Start position 52 width 1
Oil Pressure Light Start position 53 width 1
Shift Light Start position 55 width 1
    The math block settings I used for the fuel level sender and coolant temp are as follows;
    Fuel tank level Equation (a/5*100*2.8)
    Coolant temp Equation (a*9/5)+32

That did the trick!!! Offset -100 on the trigger..... Runs so smooth even with big cams, better than fussing around with an old PowerFC.
    Thank you so much!

The consumption value will be fixed next ECU firmware update and I believe you can put your own labels on each gauge but I don't think that extends to your own units.

It's idling. Timing was a mere 2.5 deg off. The timing gun needed more voltage than there was available off the battery to actually pick up the firing and run the bulb. I pulled a jumper battery and ran the gun off that.
Within 10 minutes it's was idling at stoich.
Great job Link! and thank you especially @Adamw

I took this out recently to the Pukekohe track, as I wanted to have a go before it closes.
Just a few days prior I setup the e-throttle rev match function.
AND HOLY HELL THIS IS GOOD!

In this whole video I didnt do a single rev match, ECU was taking care of it.
So I could just concentrate on the brakes.
Not only is it good for reducing lap times, but also reducing mechanical wear from synchros and clutch getting a hard time.

The motor was getting quite hot (108deg max) so I need to sort the cooling a bit better.

But on the whole it performed well beyond expectations.

Your speed signal is very noisy which makes your Gear Ratio Calc. very noisy, I suspect this is due to the dyno and that it will be smoother on the road. A solution for smoothing it out would be to turn on the DI 3 Frequency filtering (Digital Inputs -> GP Input -> GP Speed 1).

    Thanks Guys, appreciate it.
Looks to be all sorted now.
So for anyone wanting to know exactly how individual cylinder temperature control is set up using CanBus EGTs (Can TC)
    Simple setup ;
    1. turn on "Individual cylinder fuel correction"
    2. select Indv fuel mode = "table"
    3. allocate all cylinders to there corresponding Ftrim tables
    4. Now you have access to each cylinder trim table, click into cylinder 1 table
    5. set top X axis to engine speed rpm, Y axis to Can TC 1 (cylinder 1) and press 'Initiate Axis"
    6. Now you have 0-1000 degrees on Y axis to customise your specific temp protection with RPM on top axis.
    7. repeat for the rest of the fuel trim cylinders
    8. repeat the same for the "individual cylinder ignition correction"

Note. "0" in the trim tables will not effect anything, fuel trim above desired temperature may be in the range of adding  5-15% fuel depending on temperature and RPM. Ignition trim numbers may be in the range of -2 to -15 degree trim depending on temperature limits and RPM.

    Hope this helps anyone

that log shows Aux 3 having 0% Duty Cycle and frequency of 10Hz, are you sure the alt control is setup properly? also looks like alt control target and error aren't logged so can you go to Logging -> Setup logging and smack the Add All button down the bottom in the PC Logging tab please.
Actually I've figured it out, your ecu firmware is 6.21 which is from before alternator control was added so upgrade your firmware then reload that map from Adam

Technically possible and kind of already done with CAN Lambda detection and setup, has been mentioned before and is in the list of things to look at doing at some point in the future but no real time frame on it.

Thanks for the log, I can reproduce the same problem you have encountered.  It appears to be related to the conversion to AFR.  Since we all use Lambda internally here I suspect we all forgot to test this updated quick trim using AFR units.  You will have to temporarily change to Lambda units (shortcut U).  I will let the software team know there is a problem but the engineer that made this change is on holiday until the middle of next week so we likely wont have a fix for a week or so.  Sorry for the inconvenience.

When Open Loop Lambda Table is on the AFR/Lambda target is taken into account in the fuel calculation and so changing the target will change the fuel volume and so measured AFR/Lambda proportionally. This means you can adjust targets without having to retune the fuel table.
