  1. I have had a couple of users mention this now so I have just asked engineering to take a look at it.
  2. Can you attach the tune as well
  3. The set-up above is for a user that wants both standing start launch and rolling launch functions. If you just want rolling launch then all you need to do is turn it on in the launch control menu.
  4. The purge valve is connected to pin 9 which is not connected to anything in our ECU. But if you wish to use it you will just have to connect or move that wire to a spare aux output.
  5. You map says the firmware was 5.6.5, but I just looked at you log again and that shows 5.6.7 - so I assume you attached an old map from before you updated?
  6. Are you using the bottom drawing? I didnt originally notice but now I see your lamp is an LED, this may not pass enough current to switch the DI. The top drawing should work though.

    Bosch 2 wire ISCV

No, it will be open some percentage all the time depending on base position table etc, you always need to connect both sides of the valve in a turbo application. The only change I would suggest from the info below is set the min clamp to 20%.
  8. Assuming this is a WRX104 ECU? The factory subaru ECU high-side drives the AVCS solenoids - that means a permanent ground is supplied to one side of the solenoid and the ECU controls it by PWM on the +12V side. The Link ECU does the opposite - it uses low side drives - so one side of the solenoid is connected to constant +12V, and the other side is PWM to ground by the ECU. Our ECU outputs constant +12V on pins A18 & A19 (direct from the main relay), Aux 1 controls pin A29 and Aux 2 controls pin A28.

    No connection

I moved your post into its own topic as it was unlikely related to the topic you were posting in. Can you give some more details; Have you ever been able to connect or is it the first time you have tried? What error message do you get? Does your ECU show up in the comports section in windows device manager similar to my picture below?
  10. Yes, each member gets a small storage allowance. Commercial forum hosting/storage is not cheap - the cost is not only based on how much space you use, but also how many visitors you get per hour etc. Nearly everybody has a google, apple or microsoft account nowadays and they are free if you dont so I suggest if you use one of those to share files if you have already used your allowance.

It is very much down to user preference. Most of the cars I do are circuit cars so I will typically have a warm-up screen for keeping an eye on vitals during start-up and then a racing page where I put as little on the display as possible to keep it easy to read at a glance and so the driver doesnt have to worry about pressures/temperatures etc. Anything important that we want the driver to take action with you do with alarms and messages. For a road car I would suggest just looking though all the display layouts available and find one you like. The latest versions of RS3 have more options for changing colours of text and adding icons etc too.

If you have a sequential box I assume it has a gear barrel potentiometer? Can you attach your tune and a short log.
  13. Sorry I missed your post. I have made some changes to your tune that should be a step in the right direction. Please update to the latest firmware also. Try this map and do us another log - I changed quite a bit so it may get worse before it gets better. It may need some further adjustments yet. I havent changed any fuel related stuff in this map. We will see if the throttle control is settled down first. The sudden change in lambda once it gets warm is due to the CLL reaching its enable temperature and turning on. tune082620 Idle tweeks.pclr
  14. It is normal for the status runtimes to show off all the time for injectors and ign - they only show active when the drives are assigned as aux outputs. Do you have RPM showing in the software when cranking? Do the injectors click when you set them to test mode?

I have attached from my personal files what I think was the original Link config - I normally use a more customised version. To use this, go to the configuration page in RS3 and select "import" then import this file. Once its finished importing you can place a check mark in the box beside this config and hit transmit. 16. Not sure what you are asking here? Do you mean for the forum?

The HP Tuners formula for the fuel press sensor would give the following calibration - which at least looks closer to normal, so I suggest you use this: For Lambda target table, export/import the one out of our Nissan GTR base map, that would be more like what you need for a boosted engine.

Just set the ignition mode to twin distributor. Dont worry about the ignition drives 3-8 if they still say "ignition". The ignition drives will only be assigned to the correct functions when you load the map into your ECU - this is because the software doesnt know how many ignition drives your ECU has until it is connected. You could be loading that map into an Atom for instance which only has 4 drives.
  19. It will write to a new log everytime the ecu is powered off/on. It will also write to a new file once a certain size is exceeded. This is to make it easier when you for instance have many hours of logs stored in there but you only want to download the last ten minutes. Not sure what you are trying to explain here, you will have to explain it better or do a video or something. Are you saying when you click capture with the engine running, you get no waveform drawn?

    PDM Unit advice

Yeah I agree, I dont see any options for keypad functionality in the beta RS3 I have. You will have to query your AIM dealer. I could possibly help you make some very basic keypad functionality work with custom CAN but it will be a bit of a ball-ache.
  21. I only had a very quick look over your tune - it looks well set up and your log shows fuel controlling well. Although I dont know these engines at all - one thing that doesn't look well optimised to me is the ignition advance is pretty low in some areas for E85 - especially the big drop of 10degs between the 100kpa and 140kpa rows. I suspect you could gain a lot of torque and quicker spool if that boost retard curve was a bit less drastic.
  22. Glad its working, but it still looks pretty fishy like there is a ground missing or something. Did you do this?
  23. The delay you need to check by reving it while the timing is locked and check the timing stays steady. If it drifts 1 or 2 degs then adjust your delay until it doesnt. The spark duration I would set to 1.5ms - I suspect it will never come into play with twin distributors anyway a you should have plenty of cycle time to charge the coil 4 times per cycle.

    Tuning D16Y8

I've only had a brief look at your map, obviously the ecu log is no use. A PC log might be a better option until we sort out your ecu logging issue.. A couple of things that leap out at me: Your fuel pressure sensor calibration looks wrong. Your lambda target for 130Kpa and above might be a bit on the lean side. IAT fuel trim should be turned off for modelled mode. You are going to need more than 240cc of injector for boost
