Vaughan reacted to Sookey in TPS reading high
After having a little play around with PIDs I found my ethrottle target was higher than expected, I then found that my idle speed control setup was causing the ethrottle target table to be increased.
After adjusting this my TPS readings and targets are all good
Thanks for your help!

Thanks,
I did a check with at 300 and 450 kpa.
Mechanical Guage and Voltage all lined up, I would show you a picture, but can't upload a file.
Max total size: 307.95 kB The AFR GTR Map is updated to my image. Thanks Crash Coursing.
I really appreciate everything you and your team are doing, really keeps the depression away.

Vaughan got a reaction from chickeneatman in FuryX with 2 Wideband o2?
The 2GR Cam triggers usually need pullup resistors to 5V added, from memory I used a 2k2 pullup ressitor to 5V on each of my cam position sensors in my 2GR MR2 with g4X ECU.

Vaughan reacted to Sookey in TPS reading high
Thanks for the info, I was seeing it whilst the engine was not running but had it in setup mode so it was being controlled and could hear the hum/whine
I will play around with the target and PIDs and see what I find.

Vaughan reacted to Dualxeon64 in Unable to connect MR2link ECU G+4
Alright I found the broken wiring. The 2 power wires go into one just under the fuse box in the bay. They where corroded and when I split the harness they separated. Got that fixed and yay my car starts right up..
Thank you guys for all your help on this.

Vaughan reacted to mapper in PCLink 6.18.20 and Firmware 6.18.8 Released!
Thats not a nice way how you say that. On every product you buy the updates stops someday and you have to invest in the new generation unit if you want get all the recent features.
Besides I'm 100% sure you would have been in the same situation with the other ECU manufacturer. And if your fuel table is properly tuned, there is no need for long term fuel trims. I recommend to use Mixture Map.

Vaughan reacted to BRU_22 in Math Edge Function
Thanks Vaughan. I understand the a parameter to count on the falling edge (active to inactive)? So your cunning formula counts when changing from inactive to active. Correct me if I am mistaken. Either way you have answered my question nicely.

Vaughan reacted to autolove in OEM oil pressure sensor signal - Evo 9 Plug-in
@Vaughan @Bethanyc Many thanks, that makes perfect sense. Wired the output from my AEM oil pressure setup into the expansion loom and it's all set now. Much appreciated.

Vaughan got a reaction from autolove in OEM oil pressure sensor signal - Evo 9 Plug-in
I don't know the EVOs particularly well but I would hazard a guess that the factory oil pressure sensor is a switch type rather than a pressure output and is connected directly to the dash cluster oil light?

Vaughan reacted to Pete_89t2 in DI "Latch" setting won't persist or remain saved to the ECU
Thanks for helping me sort this out -- it now works after making a few wiring revisions to the OEM Mazda harness needed to connect the main cruise on/off switch to AN6, so all the cruise function switches are now all on an analog input.
Just a suggestion for the next update to the PCLink help file/documentation -- add a note in there to highlight the fact that the cruise function switches (i.e., cruise ON/enable, set, resume & cancel) need to be all on an analog input or all on digital inputs, not a mix of both. Since the documentation doesn't explicitly state anywhere that you can't have both analog & digital inputs for these switches, most guys will design their wiring harnesses around their switch gear and specific installation. In my case, that meant using a mix of an analog & digital inputs to minimize the need to alter the OEM factory wiring.

Thank you guys. The error did not come back yet, but it won't come back in the near future either as I just blew up my turbo.

I occasionally get it when the throttle has to move very far very fast

I've always mounted mine in the engine bay, on the chassis not the engine.

Vaughan got a reaction from Fotis in Toyota G4X
the TST185X is for the earlier revision sw20 mr2 with the 3s motor, we don't sell a plugin for the aw11 or any other 4age platform but I have seen a lot with atoms or monsoons wired into 4age vehicles.

I've also just increased the range in which the gear ratio is considered stable so the automatic calibration of gear ratio should work better in the next release.
