Vaughan got a reaction from koracing in Possible to use AN Temp inputs for extra Analog inputs?
That one is my bad, I have fixed it and it will be available in the next release.

Vaughan reacted to wastegate in FTD2XX.DLL is missing
Hey Guys,
I've just upgraded from a G4+ to a G4X TALTX and I'm just installing G4X PCLink EN 6.19.65. However, running into an issue were it fails to start.
Errors in a dialog box saying FTD2XX.DLL is missing. This is in a Windows 10 20H2 Virtual Machine on VMware Workstation 16.1
Uninstalling and installing 6.18.44 works fine.

Vaughan reacted to Tim D in G4+ 5.6.8 PC Link & Firmware 5.6.8 Released
Thank you, much appreicated. I installed the latest PCLink and updated the firmware as you suggested.
I did experience some strange behaviour though:
A while back, I set Lambda Mode OFF to do some refinements to fuel table
Once complete, I set Lambda Mode Auto Mode (Wide Band) and the following tables were missing:
CLL Pos Trim
CLL Neg Trim
CLL Update rate
I found that by setting FTrim Tables to OFF, then back to 3D Table again, the missing tables re-appeared.
Not sure if this is expected behaviour but it confused me.

Thanks, I make driven wheel speed source to gp speed 1 (like driving wheels) and 3d mode with single axis like Vaughan wrote and works perfect now.

Vaughan reacted to Scott33 in Documentation bug for gear ratio table
In the documentation for the gear ratio table, it says "Gear Ratio = Engine Speed (RPM) / Speed sensor frequency (Hz)" and "Engine Speed/Speed Sensor Frequency". However, as far as I can tell it's actually Engine Speed (RPM) / Wheel speed (kph). This is what is actually displayed in the Runtime Values box under the Misc tab.

Vaughan reacted to Adamw in WRXLink (04) pinout question
Thats a typo you have found there sorry, I will get that fixed up. Corrected note below.
So yes you can use A8/Aux 8 & A11/Aux 7 for what ever you wish and you dont need to worry about A9/10.

Vaughan reacted to BuckinghamIO in G4X Xtreme 1JZ VVTI not starting.
Setting base timing again solved the issue, I was using a 205 degree offset with the G4+ and only needed 5 degree offset on the G4X hence the no starting.
Thanks once again!

Vaughan got a reaction from Gsab in Knock controle link g4+
The knock retard is visible in the Cylx Knk I-Trim runtimes, the reason it doesn't show up in the main ignition angle value is that the retard numbers are typically cylinder based rather than overall.

after reading Adams detailed answers to lots of other peoples questions it is clear to me that I will have to vote for Adam (write in vote) for president in the upcoming US election! He is way better than the other choices!!

Beside the crank/cam trigger patterns I don't think so.
Here's a base map I've found for a Neon SRT-4
Thank you

Vaughan reacted to SimonSTI in Share your Math Channel List
Not super fancy, but I use a math block to filter my speed signal with the average function (av). Works really well.

Vaughan reacted to chickeneatman in Trig1 Error - 2grfe
Ahh that would make sense. The error counter incremented by 2 almost every time I cranked the motor. I didn't see the error this last time when I actually got the motor to start and idle.
Thank you for all your help Vaughan. Having your tune to compare to helped me find a lot of little things I missed the first time I setup the Ecu.

Vaughan reacted to HaveYouSeenAWizardSleep in Series 4 RX7 Can’t hold idle, Link Monsoon G4X
Update: The car is running very well and idles perfectly, I never wired up my BAC (Idle Air Control Valve) on the car, and I remember when creating the base-map I set it up to run with ISC control not sure if that was from the FD base-map but my intention from the beginning was to utilize the BAC anyways. The car starts with ease, better than ever (even better than the stock ECU lol). I thought I'd share this for people intending to run a Link on their FC RX-7, I'm no expert tuner but this could help anybody in my situation.

Vaughan reacted to chickeneatman in FuryX with 2 Wideband o2?
Not a problem. I plan to have it professionally tuned once I have all the bugs worked out. I just need something to get me started with. Thank you very much!

Vaughan got a reaction from chickeneatman in FuryX with 2 Wideband o2?
I'm not a professional tuner and I am still playing around with various aspects of the tune so don't take any of this tune too seriously.
This file is also about 3 months old and from memory was running too rich under full load and high rpm.

Vaughan got a reaction from Rozsko in PCLink 6.18.20 and Firmware 6.18.8 Released!
This was spotted fairly quickly and a new version was put up with a fix (6.18.32), another version with language support (6.18.44) has also been put up since that so grab the latest PCLink and firmware please and let me know if it's still a problem.
Thanks
